Welcome to Cyberbullying 101!

Bullies have taken to the new medium of cyberspace. They use e-mail, social networking sites, chat rooms, websites, cellphones, and other electronic communications tools to harrass, torment, and even threaten other peers. Over 42% of children have reported being the victim of cyberbullying. Trouble in school, depression, and suicide in extreme cases have been known to happen to victims of cyberbullies. This wiki is the companion notes for my presentation on cyberbullying. Here you will find links to more resources to learn more about cyberbullying and how to limit its impact on children. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or comments about my presentation or this wiki..
